Bingham hollow Trail
Short Water Fall Hike - Approximately 0.3 miles
a Quick forest hike leads to a beautiful seasonal waterfall and rock overhang. Terrain near the falls can be uneven and slippery, so sturdy shoes are recommended.
Ozark Highlands Trail
Long-distance trail • Multiple access points
The Ozark Highlands Trail stretches approximately 290 miles through some of Arkansas’s most scenic terrain. Nearby sections offer everything from day hikes to extended backpacking adventures.
Redding/Spy Rock Trail head
8.5-mile loop • Moderate to strenuous
Beginning near Redding Recreation Area, this forested loop climbs to impressive views across the Mulberry River Valley. It is best suited to experienced hikers prepared for a longer outing.
Glory Hole Waterfall Trail
1.9-mile out-and-back • Moderate
This popular trail leads to a distinctive waterfall that flows through an opening in a rock overhang. Expect uneven and potentially slippery terrain near the waterfall.

Aux Arc Park (Ozark Lake / Arkansas River)
Army Corps of Engineers park just south of Ozark (about 1.5–2 miles from town). Public boat ramp, bank fishing, and easy access to Ozark Lake / the Arkansas River. Good for catfish, bass, crappie, and bream. Amenities include parking, restrooms, and picnic areas. Open year-round.

Mulberry River – Wolf Pen Recreation Area
Public U.S. Forest Service access on the Mulberry River (National Wild & Scenic River), about 20–30 minutes north of Ozark via Hwy 23 then Hwy 215. Excellent for smallmouth and spotted bass (one of Arkansas’s better smallmouth streams). Bank fishing, wading, and canoe/kayak put-in. Picnic tables and vault toilets.
Great scenic option for guests who want more of a “creek/river” experience.
Paris City Lake / Paris Reservoir
Approximately 15–20 minutes

Ozark City Lake
Approximately 20–25 minutes
